Chargers
Your charger has been designed for a
specific voltage. Always check that the
mains voltage corresponds to the voltage
on the rating plate.
Warning! Never attempt to replace the
charger unit with a regular mains plug.
Use your BLACK+DECKER charger

only to charge the battery in the
appliance with which it was supplied.
Other batteries could burst, causing
personal injury and damage.
Never attempt to charge non-
u
rechargeable batteries.
If smoke is seen while charging the
u
product, immediately unplug the cord
and contact Stanley Black & Decker
customer support at 1577-0933.
If the fault interrupter is activated the
u
moment the product starts charging
when placed on the charger, stop
charging immediately and contact
customer support.
Be sure to confirm that the cordless
u
vacuum cleaner has been turned off
before charging it.
Do not use multiple products in a
u
single outlet (power strip) at the same
time. Excessive heat from the outlet
may cause fire. Tripping the breaker
may turn off the power.

Do not forcibly bend the power cord

or subject it to pressure from heavy
objects. Damage to the electric cord
may cause electric shock or fire.
Unplug the product when it has not

been used for a long time or once the
battery has been fully charged. May
cause electric shock, short circuit or

Using a transformer carries the risk of

electric shock or fire due to differences
in voltage, frequency and power rating.
Discontinue use if the product has

been submerged in water or if water
has entered the product.
Be sure to unplug the product when

cleaning it.
Be sure to unplug the product before going

outside. May cause short circuit or fire.
Inserting or poking with items such as

chopsticks or screwdrivers may cause
the charging terminal to short circuit.
Be careful not to let animals gnaw on

the power cord.
Ensure the presence of a guardian

when used by children or others who

If the supply cord is damaged, it must

be replaced by the manufacturer or an
authorised BLACK+DECKER Service
Centre in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not expose the charger to water.

The appliance/battery must be

placed in a well ventilated area when
charging.
