CHAPTER 7 PICK-UP/FEEDING SYSTEM
A. Pick-Up Assembly
1. Removing the Pick-Up Assembly
1) Remove the cassette from the copier.
2) Remove the lower right cover and the
right cover.
3) Pull out the roll [1] of the multi tray cover.
4) Free the cable of the right door [2] from
the hook [3]; then, detach the right door.

5) Disconnect the connector [4] of the pick-
up assembly and remove the grounding
screw [5].
6) Remove the four screws [7], and detach
the pick-up assembly [6].

2. Removing the Pick-Up/Feeding/
Separation Roller
1) Slide out the cassette.
2) Holding the knob [1], pull out the roller in
its axial direction.

1) Holding the knob, push in the roller until a
click is heard.
