  1. On/off button
  • Press the button to switch on or off the device.
  1. HDD-target
  • Bay to put in the target hard drive.
  1. HDD-source
  • Bay to put in the source hard drive.
  1. Power indicator LED
  • The LED indicates if the device is switched on.
  1. Target indicator LED
  • The LED indicates if the hard drive is in the target bay.
  1. Source indicator LED
  • The LED indicates if the hard drive is in the source bay.
  1. Progress indicator
  • The indicator shows the progress for the offline cloning of the hard drive.
  1. Offline clone button
  • Use the button for offline cloning of the hard drive.
  1. DC input
  • Connect the power adapter to the DC input of the device.
  1. USB 3.0 input
  • Connect a USB cable to the USB 3.0 input and to the computer to connect the device to the computer.

Hardware set up

Start up

  • Connect the power adapter to the DC input and to the wall socket.
  • Connect the USB 3.0 cable to the device and to the USB port of the computer.
  • Insert a 2.5 or 3.5 inch hard drive into the source bay and the target bay.
  • Press the on/off button.
  • If the hard drive is recognised by the computer, it shows a pop-up in the task bar at the bottom on the right side of the screen. The hard drive can also be found in the "Disk Manager".

Note: Make sure that the computer does not access the hard drive before the hard drive is removed.

Note: Never disconnect the docking station from the computer while the hard drive is in use. This may cause damage to the hard drive, docking station or computer.

Note: If the device is connected to the computer, it automatically switches to sleep mode if the connection is left idle for more than 30 minutes. In sleep mode the power indicator LED flashes every 3 seconds. After accessing the hard drive, the device automatically switches to power mode. The power indicator LED is constantly on.

Note: Make sure that the hard drive is not removed or inserted while the other hard drive is in use. This causes a disconnection of the other drive and may result in damage to the hard drive or in loss of data.

Hard drive offline clone

  • Make sure that nothing is connected to the USB input.
  • Insert the hard drive and make sure that the connection is secured.

Note: The offline cloning is from the source bay to the target bay. Make sure that the main drive is in the source bay and the slave drive is in the target bay.

Note: Make sure that the capacity of the target bay is equal to or higher than the capacity of the source bay.

  • Press and hold the offline clone button for 3 seconds to start the offline clone operation. The power indicator LED comes on. Quickly press the offline clone button to start the offline cloning.
  • The progress indicator shows the progress for the offline cloning of the hard drive. Each LED represents 25% completion (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

  • The device can be used by children from 8 years and above and by persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motor disability, or lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or instructed on how to use the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Only use the device for its intended purposes. Do not use the device for other purposes than described in the manual.
  • Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. If the device is damaged or defective, replace the device immediately.
  • The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the device outdoors.
  • The device is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use the device for commercial purposes.
  • Do not use the device in locations with high humidity, such as bathrooms and swimming pools.
  • Do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  • Do not use a timer or a separate remote-control system that switches on the device automatically.
  • Do not cover the device.
  • Place the device on a stable, flat surface.
  • Keep the device away from flammable objects.

  • To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should only be opened by an authorized technician when service is required.
  • Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
  • Do not use the device if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective. If the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.
  • Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the device.
  • Do not move the device by pulling the mains cable. Make sure that the mains cable cannot become entangled.
  • Do not immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids.
  • Do not leave the device unattended while the mains plug is connected to the mains supply.
  • Do not use an extension cable.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Before cleaning or maintenance, always switch off the device, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the device has cooled down.
  • Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
  • Do not clean the inside of the device.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
    Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the device with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Clean the ventilation openings using a soft brush.
