  1. Volume + button
  • Tap the button to increase the volume.

  • Tap the button to decrease the volume.
  1. Mute button
  • Tap the button to mute or unmute the sound.
  1. Call button
    (Skype for Business)
  • Dial the number or select the contact from your computer to make a call.
  • Tap the button to answer or end an incoming call.
  1. LED indicator
  • The indicator lights blue when a call is active.
  • The indicator lights red when the microphone is muted.
  • The indicator lights blue and red when the microphone is muted during a call.
  1. Speaker
  1. Headset jack (3.5 mm)
  • To use a headset for private calls, connect the headset to the headset jack.
  1. USB plug
  • Connect the USB plug to the USB port of your computer. The Nedis logo comes on when the device is connected.
Note: Do not connect the speaker to your computer using a USB hub or a USB extender. Direct connection to the USB port of your computer ensures sufficient electrical current to power up the speaker.

Configuration

  • When the device is connected to your computer, the USB audio driver is installed automatically without any additional software or drivers. The configuration will only take a few minutes.
  • On your computer, select "Control Panel" > "Sound Device" to check whether both playback and recording drivers have been installed successfully.

Manual configuration (Microsoft Windows)

  • Select "Control Panel" > "Hardware and Sound" > "Sound".
  • Under the "Playback" and "Recording" tabs, select "Conexant USB Audio" as the default device.
  • Click "Set Default" and "Apply" to save the settings.
  • Note: Under different Microsoft Windows versions, the naming and visual representations can vary. If you are not able to locate the driver settings, contact your system administrator.

Manual configuration (Macintosh, Intel-based)

  • Select "System Preferences" > "Sound".
  • Under the "Input" and "Output" tabs, select "Conexant USB Audio" as the device.
  • Click "Set Default" and "Apply" to save the settings.

  • Do not use a timer or a separate remote-control system that switches on the device automatically.
  • Do not cover the device.
  • Place the device on a stable, flat surface.
  • Keep the device away from flammable objects.

  • Product should only be opened by an authorized technician when service is required.
  • Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
  • Do not use the device if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective. If the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.
  • Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the device.
  • Do not move the device by pulling the mains cable. Make sure that the mains cable cannot become entangled.
  • Do not immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids.
  • Do not leave the device unattended while the mains plug is connected to the mains supply.
  • Do not use an extension cable.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Before cleaning or maintenance, always switch off the device, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the device has cooled down.
  • Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
  • Do not clean the inside of the device.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
  • Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the device with a clean, dry cloth.
