Rear Axle, Overview; Speed Sensor On Rear Axle, Removing And Installing - Audi Q7 2007 Repair Manual

– Separate speed sensor and speed sensor wiring connector

– Remove bolt -2- from wheel bearing housing.
– Remove ABS speed sensor from wheel bearing housing.
Installing
– Before inserting wheel speed sensor, clean inner surface of
bore hole and coat sensor completely with Polycarbamide
Grease - G 052 142 A2- .
– Insert the speed sensor into the hole in the wheel bearing
housing and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm.
– Connect the speed sensor to speed sensor wiring.

2 - Hex Socket Bolt
❑ 8 Nm
3 - Wheel Bearing/Hub Unit
❑ The ABS sensor ring is
installed in the wheel
bearing.
