Problem
• Don't know how to
stop the printing
process when
printing from a
computer.
• Printing has started
after starting the
computer.
• Cannot start
printing from the
computer.
• ERROR lamp on
the printer is lit
or blinking when
printing from the
computer.
Cause and Remedy
• It may take some time until the image is displayed,
depending on the image format or size of the image.
This is not a malfunction.
• Do you have many images stored on the memory card?
It may take some time until the image is displayed.

• Is the printer located close to any devices that may be
emitting electric waves or magnetic waves?
Make sure the printer is not set close to any game
devices, stereo speakers or large format monitors,
etc.
• Are there any obstacles between the printer and the
remote control?
Remove any obstacles that may be in the way.
• Are you pointing the remote control at the remote control
receiver on the printer?
Make sure that you are aiming the remote control at
the printer's remote control receiver.
• Is the battery used up?
Replace the battery with new one.
Cause and Remedy
• Click [Cancel Printing] on the status monitor.
• Select [Start] [Printers and Faxes] (or [Start]
[Settings] [Printers]) and then double-click the icon
for this printer. Then select [Printer]
Documents] (or [Purge Print Documents]).
• Check the information displayed on the status monitor.
