Owner's Manual
for installing, setting up and using your new product
Twin Motors - steer and
propel your submarine at
speeds of up to 50 feet
per minute.
Your submarine can dive in water up to 3 feet (1 meter)
deep. You can steer it in any direction.
Your submarine comes in one of two frequencies
(27 MHz and 49 MHz), so you can race with your
friends. Check the box to see the frequency you have.

Step One
Installing Batteries
You need:
• A 9V battery
• 4 AA batteries
• Phillips screwdriver
In the Transmitter
1. Loosen the screw on the
battery compartment cover
with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Remove the cover.
3. Insert a 9V battery.
4. Replace and secure the cover.
Step Two
Balancing the Submarine
You must balance your submarine
so it works correctly. To check your
submarine's balance, float it in a
body of water such as a sink or
bathtub with the batteries installed.
If the submarine does not float
evenly, adjust the ballasts in the
ballast compartment.
To open the ballast compartment,
use a coin to turn the latch on the
bottom of the submarine to open it.
Then lift up the ballast
compartment cover.
In the Submarine
1. While holding down the
button on the back of the
submarine, turn the
submarine's tail counter-
clockwise until it stops.
2. Remove the tail.
3. Use an object such as a 4. Insert the batteries and

If the submarine sinks in the water so that the top of the
periscope is underwater, remove a few ballasts evenly from
both sides.
If the submarine slants to one side or the other, remove
ballasts from the opposite side.
The best balanced position is when the water covers the submarine's
body, leaving only the top of the periscope visible above the water.

turn it clockwise
to lock it.
