What is HDCP?
HDCP refers to an encoding function developed to protect digital conte nt included in HDMI signal transmitted.
Operating Diagram
The operating diagram below shows how the picture is displayed when a device equipped with the HDCP function connects
to a monitor that contains an HDCP authentication code. The picture is displayed after an authentication (decoding) process
through the HDMI's I2C line.
1. Authentication takes about 2 seconds.
2. A static screen will appear if the authentication fails. If this is the case, try the following:
- Check the supported resolution.
- Close and run the software again (for re-authentication).
- Enter the HDCP key again.
- Check that the device and graphics card are HDCP certifiable or the content is authorized for use.
