3. Press the F5 key immediately when the message appears to go to the
Emulex BIOS Utility.
NOTE: Press the F5 key within five seconds of the displayed message to invoke the Boot
BIOS utility.
The Main menu screen appears showing a list of HBAs.
1. ALPA: 18
2. ALPA: 01
Enter a selection.
Enter <x> to Exit.
4. Select the HBA by entering the appropriate number.
Any fibre channel drive attached to the HBA can be designated as the
boot device.
Adapter 1:
1. Configure legacy private loop.
2. Configure boot devices.
3. Enable or disable BIOS on the adapter.
4. Change default ALPA of this device.
5. Changed Extended Link Service Timer (+ Advanced Option +).
6. Change FC Link Timer (+ Advanced Option +).
7. Change PLOGI Retry Timer (+ Advanced Option +).
8. Topology Selections (+ Advanced Option +).
Enter a Selection:
Enter <x> to Exit
5. Type 8 to select a Topology Selection. Enter a selection and then press
the PageUp key.
6. Type 2 to select Configure Boot Devices:
a. Select a boot entry
b. Enter a selection
c. Select the desired boot device. Enter a selection and then press the
PageUp key.
