Requirement

• The connecting terminal included in the scope of supply is used.

• A two-wire cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm

• Flat-head screwdriver with 3 mm blade.

Procedure

1. Turn off the power supply.

2. Connect the wires as shown to pins 1 and 2 of the 10-pin spring contact.

3. Connect the connecting terminal to the power supply connection.

Securing cables

To ensure strain relief, use cable ties or cable clamps to secure the connected cables to

suitable fixing elements.

Make sure that the cables are not pinched by the cable ties or cable clamps.

Connect the converter to pins 5–7 of the spring-loaded terminal.

You can connect a SIMATIC FDE Gateway to one of the following converters via the RS232

interface on the converter-specific module or control device:

• SINAMICS V20

• SINAMICS G110M

• SINAMICS G120 series (except G120D)

• MICROMASTER 420/430/440
