Servicing by FORD
When it comes to maintenance
operations which are essential for
the reliability and roadworthiness
of your vehicle, keep to the service
intervals indicated in the Service
Book. We recommend that you
always use an Authorised Dealer.
Things that you must do
Check and top up fluid levels regu-
larly. Check tyre pressures and cor-
rect operation of brakes and lights.
Check warning lights.
The fluid reservoirs for brake fluid,
coolant and power steering are
translucent to allow a rapid visual
check.
For easy identification, all the filler
caps and the engine oil dipstick are
marked black/yellow.
The ignition must be
switched off before work-
ing in the engine compart-
ment. Even with the ignition
switched off the cooling
fan may start automatically.
Take care that clothing, such
as ties or scarves, do not
become caught in the fan or
drive belts.
