Notes on using the
There is next indication at the time of a start in this product, and it'll be sometimes a POST stop.
POST error（B000/B301/B302/B303/B304/B30A/B330)
「Expansion ROM not initialized - xxxxx」
This is because Expansion ROM development territory was exceeded by the construction of the addition option product.
After checking the construction of the equipment concerned and the Boot device, setting change in following procedure, please.
1.About the LAN setting when not using a PXE boot.
1.POST When a message of "Broadcom NetXtreme Ethernet Boot Agent" was indicated on the screen,
please press a< Ctrl>+<, S> key.
Configuration Menu starts.
2.The physical port set more than Device List is chosen.
3. [MBA Configuration] is chosen from Main Menu.
4. An Enter key is pushed down together with a cursor in [Boot Protocol] and the setting is changed to [None] from [PXE].
2.About change in the Option ROM setting of the device I won't use for Boot.
1.When a power supply of this product is turned on and POST is advanced, the next message is shown to the screen
lower left.
Press <F2> SETUP .(※ A message sometimes changes with the environment.) a< F 2> key is pressed here and a SETUP
utility is started.
2. [Advanced ]- [PCI Configuration ]- [PCI Device Controller and Option ROM Settings] is chosen and a< Enter> key is
pressed.
3. All except for the item necessary to Boot is changed to "Disabled" from "Enabled".
4. [Save & Exit ]- [Save Changes and Exit] is chosen.
Attention： Even if you change the Option ROM setting to Disabled in a SETUP utility when mounting
a FibreChannel controller (N8403-034F) and using the FC switch, when restarting, it's changed
to Enabled automatically.
