Setup

Many different features of your phone can be
customized to suit your preferences.
Auto Retry
With this menu option set to ON, when you place a call
and the call does not connect, the phone automatically
retries to make the call.
Auto Answer
This feature is only used when the phone is connected
to a hands-free car kit (optional). With this menu option
on, the phone automatically answers calls after 2
predefined rings. This option is useful while driving, for
instance.
This feature works only when you have set the ring type
to BELL and have activated the ringer.
Auto Hyphen
With this menu option set to ON, your phone
automatically hyphenates numbers as follows: (area
code)-(number).
Digits following a pause are not hyphenated.

Answer Mode

This feature allows you to choose how to answer an
incoming call. The following options are available.

Send=Answer: you only have to press
Anykey=Ans.: you can press any key except for
Open=Answer: you only have to open the phone to

Tone Length

The tone length setting enables you to select SHORT or
LONG DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) tones.
DTMF tones are what is send by your phone to access
teleservices (such as a bank account). The system used
by the bank or other service determines if you need
short or long DTMF. If the service is digital (which most
are these days), short DTMF will almost always works.
However, some new systems and almost all older
