To search for area codes
NOTE:
without entering the number,
press Search, which shows the
area code list. Scroll to the de-
sired area code and press Ok to
display the selected code in the
area code window.
International prefix
(Menu 5-2-2)
When you key in the phone number, press-
ing
twice or pressing and holding
automatically displays the preset
international prefix.
1. In the standby mode, press Menu and
select Settings.
2. Select
Call settings
prefix.
3. To set the prefix, select
cel it, select Off.
4. If you select On, access number screen
is displayed. Key in the international
call access number you want to set and
press Ok.

Answer call (Menu 5-2-3)

You can answer a call either by
1. Opening flap
2. Press any key
3. Press SEND key.
The default is to answer a call by opening
the flap. See "Call settings".

(Menu 5-2-4)
This function allows your phone to make
up to three attempts automatically to
connect the call after an unsuccessful call
attempt.

orig. call alert (Menu 5-2-5)

This function notifies you with the sound,
when the call channel is linked between
the phone and the base station.
Depending on the station
NOTE:
condition, the sound may not
made.

Data service (Menu 5-2-6)

This function provides you the voice/data/
fax services.
Incoming mode
Sets the modem data or fax receiving
mode.
Data speed
Sets high-speed or low-speed data de-
pending on the service and station envi-
ronment.

Phone settings (Menu 5-3)

Sets the phone operations. To set each
function, press Menu in the standby mode
and select
Settings
order.
