General information

This chapter gives you some general
information on your new phone and
this user's guide.

Labels on the phone

Your phone has labels on it. These are
important for service and related
purposes, so be careful not to lose the
label or the information it contains.

Security code

The security code 12345 is supplied
with your phone. To avoid
unauthorised use of your phone,
change the code in menu Settings,
4-8-6-1. Keep the new code secret
and in a safe place which is separate
from your phone.

Network services

GSM900, GSM1800 and EGSM900

functionality is a network
dependent feature. Check
with your local operator if

this functionality.
A number of features included in this
guide are called network services.
They are special services provided by

you can take advantage of any of
these network services, you must
subscribe to these service(s) from
your home service provider and
obtain instructions for their use.
