11 +12v trigger (on/off auto trigger): When the AUTO TRIGGER
switch is set to ON and the POWER switch at the rear panel also set
to ON position, a +12V DC input at +12V TRIGGER IN will power ON
the T 585. At this ON condition, the POWER button in the front panel
as well as the corresponding DVD 7 [ON/OFF] keys will be disabled
effectively handling this function to an external controller.
When the AUTO TRIGGER switch is set to OFF position, the T 585 ignores
any +12V TRIGGER IN command; the unit can be powered ON/OFF
using the POWER button in the front panel or DVD 7 [ON/OFF] keys
(make sure the POWER switch at the rear panel is at ON setting as well).
12 +12v trigger in: Accepts 12V DC Trigger output from compatible
components such as power controllers and home automation devices.
When the AUTO TRIGGER switch at the rear panel is set to ON, a +12V
DC input at +12V TRIGGER IN will power ON the T 585 (make sure the
POWER switch at the rear panel is also set to ON position).
All NAD products with +12V TRIGGER OUT feature are fully compatible
with the T 585's +12V TRIGGER IN.
IDENTIFICATION OF CONTROLS
13 ac power inlet: Connect to the supplied IEC-standard removable
AC power cord or a compatible cord.
14 power Switch: The POWER switch supplies the master AC mains
power for the T 585. When this switch is at ON position, the T 585 is
in standby mode as shown by the amber status condition of the LED
indicator. At this condition, the T 585 can be powered ON by pressing
the POWER button on the front panel or [ON] key of DVD 7 remote
control.
In combination with +12V TRIGGER (AUTO TRIGGER switch set to ON),
this POWER switch must be at ON position for the T 585 to be powered
ON via a +12V DC input at +12V TRIGGER IN.
If you intend not to use the T 585 for long periods of time, set the
POWER switch to the OFF position.
