10. NAVIGATION ARROWS
The NAVIGATION ARROWS allow you to move around the OSD menus. Pressing ENTER confirms a setting.
11. EXIT
This will exit out of the menus.
12. STATUS
This will display the current output mode and format of the UMC-1.
13. VIDEO
The VIDEO button will change the video resolution of the processor from auto to pass-through.
14. STEREO
This will change the current audio selection to stereo.
15. MODE (-) (+)
This toggles between the available modes based on the incoming format from the source unit.
16. CH TRIM (Section)
These buttons allow you to fine tune the volumes for your center speaker, subwoofer, surround speakers and
back surround speakers on the fly. These are only temporary settings – they will revert back to the preset
settings as defined by the speaker setup menu when the unit is turned off.
17. SCAN/PRESET
This scans the preset stations that you set up in the TUNER setup menu. This allows you to navigate manually
through your preset stations.
18. BAND
This allows you to toggle between AM and FM.
19. ZONE 2
Please note: Zone 2 audio sources apply only to analog inputs (unless set to sync). When set to sync, it takes
the 2 channel down mix of whatever source is running in the main zone.
* This section of the remote allows you to control the Zone-2 section of the UMC-1.
* Zone 2 is a separate audio path within the processor that allows you to send a different signal (or the same
signal) to a different set of speakers in your house. For example, you could have speakers in your kitchen or
patio playing music while at the same time watching a movie on the main zone. Zone 2 allows you to do this.
Please note: these options should be predefined in the Zone 2 setup menu.
1. POWER
The POWER button turns Zone 2 on and off. (If Zone-2 is on when you put the UMC-1 in Standby, the
UMC-1 will enter a low-power state (the lights and the display window will dim). The display will then
show you the display source and volume setting.
2. INPUT
The INPUT button allows you to select between inputs for Zone 2.
3. BAND
The BAND button allows you to toggle between AM and FM for Zone 2 (if Tuner is selected).
4. CH +/-
The channel up and down buttons allow you to select between the preset stations of the tuner.
5. VOL +/-
The volume up and down buttons allow you to raise and lower the volume of Zone 2.
