IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
WARNING
For your safety, t he informat ion in t his manual must be followed to minimize t he risk of fire, elect ric
shock or personal injury.
• Use t his appliance only for it s int ended purpose as
described in t his Owner's Manual.
• This air condit ioner must be properly inst alled in
accordance wit h t he Inst allat ion Inst ruct ions before it is
used.
• Never unplug your air condit ioner by pulling on t he power
cord. Always grip plug firmly and pull st raight out from t he
recept acle.
• Replace immediat ely all elect ric service cords t hat have
become frayed or ot herwise damaged. A damaged power
supply cord must be replaced wit h a new power supply cord

Do not , under any circumst ances, cut or remove t he t hird
(ground) prong from t he power cord. For personal safet y, t his
appliance must be properly grounded.
DO NOT use an adapt er plug wit h t his appliance.
The power cord of t his appliance is equipped wit h a 3- prong
(grounding) plug which mat es wit h a st andard 3- prong
(grounding) wall out let t o minimize t he possibilit y of elect ric
shock hazard from t his appliance.
Power cord includes a current int errupt er device. A t est
and reset but t on is provided on t he plug case. The device

mat ches t he rat ing plat e.
This provides t he best performance and also prevent s
overloading house wiring circuit s which could cause a fire
hazard from overheat ed wires.
