Notes:
• The Stitch Density of a stitch can also be increased or
decreased by using the -/+ icons under Stitch Density.
It can be changed in a decorative application to change
the stitch as you prefer, and is most effective with satin
stitches (Folder 401). Stitch Density is not available for
every stitch. (Density adjustment is not available on the B
570 QE or the 4 Series machines.)
• Elongation allows you to increase or decrease the length
of an entire stitch pattern to the size that you need. This
feature is not available for every stitch.

Patter n Repeat 1 -9x/1 -9 9 x
Program the B 880 PLUS, 790 PLUS, 740, 535, and 4 Series
machines to stop at the end of 1 - 9 repeats of a single
stitch or stitch combination.
NOTE: The B 770 QE PLUS, 735, 590 and 570 QE can be
programmed to stop at the end of 1 - 99 repeats.
1.
Attach Open Embroidery Foot #20/20C/20D.
2.
Place the stabilizer behind the fabric.
3.
Select the satin stitch scallop pattern #416; Open the
"i" menu and Pattern Repeat 1x.
4.
Sew until the machine stops; you will have one scallop.
5.
Increase Pattern Repeat to 3x. Sew until the machine
stops; you will have one stitch pattern.
NOTE: In this case, one stitch pattern equals the
repeated group of three scallops.
Pattern Elongation
NOTE: Not available on the B 535, 475 QE, or 435.

Change Pattern Repeat to 1x.

Set Pattern Extend to 300% using the slider icon (or
the (+). Pattern Extend can also be increased in 100%
increments by touching the +100% icon.
3.
Sew until the machine stops; you will have one stitch pattern.
• In this case, one stitch pattern equals one extended
scallop.
• As the stitch pattern is elongated (lengthened), the
stitch density is maintained.
4.
Select the "i" breadcrumb to close the Pattern Extend
screen and return to the "i" menu.
