Navigation settings

• Voice Guidance: Voice instructions are output
when this function is switched on.
• Early driving maneuver announcement: When
this function is switched on, the Porsche
Classic Communication Management Plus
announces the driving maneuver earlier than
in the standard setting. When the function is
switched off, the announcement is made only
shortly before the upcoming driving maneuver.
Set level of detail of
voice instructions
Proceed as follows to set the level of detail of voice
instructions:
1. Press Nav

2. Select menu item Settings.
3. Select menu item Sound.
4. Select menu item Verbosity Level.
5. Select the desired function:
• Minimum: Output voice instruction once
directly prior to the next driving maneuver.
• Medium: Voice instructions are announced
when approaching the next driving maneuver
and immediately prior thereto.
• Wordy: Voice instructions are announced at
a relatively large distance to the next driving
maneuver and immediately prior thereto.

A warning point is a location along the route that
requires special attention, such as a school zone.
The Porsche Classic Communication Management
Plus gives a warning as you approach the location.
Proceed as follows to enable/disable the function:

5. Enable or disable checkbox Alert Point Warn-
ings

Proceed as follows to determine at what types of
locations a warning is given.

4. Select menu item Alert Points.
5. Select menu item Alert Types.
6. Select the desired type of warning, such as
Railway crossing, Fire station or Toll station.

When the function is enabled, the warnings appear
on the map.

5. Enable checkbox Road Signs

Information
The options give a warning for special traffic situa-
tions, such as sharp turns (Curves and Corners), end
of lane, no passing (Lanes and Overtaking), danger-
ous crossings (Traffic and Crossings) or miscella-
neous hazard situations defined by local conditions
(General Warnings).
