PROCEDURES BEFORE OPERATION
This chapter describes the procedures before operation.

Installation

Wiring
Wire a power supply, an Ethernet cable, and an external device to the IO-Link module. ( Page 33 INSTALLATION AND
WIRING)
3.
Station number setting
Power on the IO-Link module and set the station number. ( Page 18 Network configuration)
4.
CC-Link IE Field Network parameter setting
Connect an engineering tool to the CC-Link IE Field Network master station and configure the CC-Link IE Field Network
parameters. ( Page 45 CC-Link IE Field Network Parameter Setting)
5.
IO-Link module parameter setting
Use an engineering tool to configure the IO-Link module parameters. ( Page 47 IO-Link Module Parameter Setting)
6.
Programming
Create a program. ( Page 99 PROGRAMMING)
To replace the IO-Link module, follow the procedure described below.
• Turn off the IO-Link module power supply and remove the IO-Link module.
• Prepare a new IO-Link module and perform the above procedure for wiring, parameter setting, and
programming. (The network parameters of the CC-Link IE Field Network master station do not need to be
set again.)
• After checking the operation, restart the control.
