Connecting the electric battery
(electric start only)
– Connect the storage battery wire to the storage
battery, red for the positive electrode and green
for the negative electrode, and be sure to tighten
the nut.
– Do not allow contact between the positive
electrode and negative electrode to avoid short
circuit.
– After connecting, the metal parts of two pieces of
wire should be kept at least 15mm apart and be
protected by rubber cover for safety.

Operating P3000, P6500,
P8000
4.2.1

Starting

– Turn the fuel valve lever to ON and let the fuel
flow into the carburettor.
– When the unit is in a cold state, move the choke
valve to the fully closed position. Put it in half-
closed position in thermal state.
If the generator set fails to start twice in a row,
move the choke valve to the open position and
then use the switch or hand-pull starter.
– Turn the engine switch on the control panel to ON
for recoil start, or to START for electric start, so
the generator set can be started.
To extend the service life of the
storage battery, do not turn the
switch for more than 3 seconds. Wait
for at least 10 seconds after turning
the switch before retrying.
– In case of recoil start, pull the cord gently to
connect the disc to the starting bowl inside the
unit. Pull the cord out in an instant action and the
generator set will be started after doing this twice.
If the generator set is not started, open the choke
valve.

– After starting, let the generator set run at zero load
for 5 seconds and then turn on the choke valve
switch.
– Connect electrical equipment and turn the circuit
breaker to ON.
When several loads are used at the
same time, do not access the next one
before making sure that the first one
is running normally.
The total power of the loads should
not exceed the rated power of the
unit.
4.2.2

Stopping

– Disconnect the electric equipment from the
generator set control panel.
– After 30 seconds of no-load running, turn off the
engine switch and the generator set will be shut
down immediately.
– Turn off the fuel valve lever after the shutdown of
the unit.
The surface temperature of the
generator set is still high after
shutdown. Do not attempt to move
or operate the generator set until it
cools down to avoid serious burns.
