TS-8900 Functional Test System Site Preparation and Installation Guide
A system plan diagram should be used for all aspects of site
preparation. A complete drawing details power availability,
communications cabling, and system placement with respect to
other equipment. It can also serve to verify physical access.
Figure 3-2
shows a recommended layout for a typical TS-8900
Functional Test System. Allow 1 meter (3.3 feet of space) behind
the system for service.
The Remote ON/Standby switch at the upper right-hand corner of
the system rack turns off all equipment. The Main ON/OFF switch
is located on the Agilent E1135C Power Distribution Unit (PDU),
located behind the rear cabinet door of the system (see
Figure
3-3). ALWAYS allow 1 meter (3.3 feet of space) behind the
system to be able to access the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the
E1135C PDU.
