7.3.2
Replacement of the complete inside trim:

Isolate the network section where the hydrant is installed
(upstream).

Depressurize the network section where the hydrant is
installed.

The hydrant should be fully closed by turning clockwise
on the square cap (14).

Unscrew the hexagonal bolts (13) of the bonnet (7), but
not completely, let them screwed at the minimum.

Turn the square cap (14) anti-clockwise until the gap
between the bonnet (7) and body (1) is around 30mm.

Remove the 2 hexagonal bolts (13).
Under location of the two hexagonal bolts (13), insert
7
adequate resistant shims of 30 mm between the body (1) and
the bonnet (7). See figure 8.

Turn the square cap (14) clockwise until the operating
stem (9) is out of the operating nut (2).

Remove the complete bonnet (7) including the bonnet
O-ring (10).

Lift complete inside trim (2-3-4) until it stops and unlock
with 30 degrees left turn. Pull the complete inside trim (2-3-
4) completely out of the body.

Replace the complete inside trim (2-3-4) by a new one,
including a new bonnet O-ring (10). Before installation,
lubricate the operating stem (9), shut-off cone (4), wedge nut
(2) and bonnet O-ring (10) with a small amount of appropriate
grease (see in the paragraph 7.1). Insert bonnet O-ring (10)
and insert complete inside trim (2-3-4) into the body (1). Turn
operating nut guide tabs by 30 degrees to the right and insert
into the guide grooves of the body (1).

Re-assemble the complete bonnet (7). Turn the square
cap (14) clockwise until the gap between the bonnet (7) and
body (1) is around 30 mm. Align the holes of the bonnet with
the threaded holes of the body. Place two special hexagonal
bolts M16 of minimum 70 mm length with their washers M16
and screw them gradually in alternately until the bonnet (7) is
definitely assembled and tightened on the body (1). See figure
9. Once it is done, replace tight the special hexagonal bolts
M16 of minimum 70 mm length and washers by the original
M16 bolts (13) and washers (12) of the product.
Make a full opening and closing of the hydrant without

pressure.
Check the correct operation of the product under

pressure. When opening, be careful of the release of air that
might have become trapped under pressure.

Replace the complete outlet claw:
Isolate the network section where the hydrant is installed
