INSPECTION DETAILS - A. ENGINE COMPARTMENT
WASHING VEHICLE
After washing vehicle, make sure all adhesive wrapping film
is removed.
NOTE:
Hand washing is recommended.

WATER LEAK TEST

Visually and by hand check for water leaks in the vehicle
interior from each of the following areas (make sure that the
trim and floor carpet are not damp):
a) Door glass weather strips
b) Front cowl sides
c) Around the windshield
d) Around the moonroof area
e) Around the quarter window
f) Around the rear window
PAINT FINISH (PAINT DEFECTS, DAMAGE)
Visually and by hand inspect all body panels (doors, trunk,
fenders, engine hood, roof panel) for surface damage from
shipment or for any abnormalities (surface rust, paint flaking,
chips, dents or scratches).
NOTE:
Use a well-illuminated area to clearly inspect all painted
surfaces (800-lux illumination is recommended).
EXTERIOR PARTS FOR FIT
Visually and by hand, check the following parts for proper
installation, rust, fit, misalignment and loose items:
a) Front and rear bumpers
b) Window moldings (front, side and rear)
c) Lexus emblems (front and rear)
d) Outside rearview mirrors
e) Headlights, turn signal lights, side marker lights, fog
lights and tail light lenses
f ) Doors, engine hood and fuel filler door
g) Moonroof
h) Front/Rear door panel protector
i) Outside door handle
j) Radiator grille
