Answering/Ending Calls

Manage settings for answering and ending calls.
1. Press
and touch
2. Touch Answering/ending calls to configure these options:
The home key answers calls: A nswer incoming calls by pressing the Home key.
l
Voice control: A nswer calls by speaking commands. Touch the check box to turn Voice
l
control on, then touch Voice control. Touch the check box to turn Incoming calls on.
When enabled, you can answer or reject calls with the voice commands "Answer" and
"Reject". When you answer a call with a voice command, the Speaker will automatically turn
on for hands-free calls.
The power key ends calls: E nd calls by pressing the Power key. In this case, pressing the
l
Power key during a call will not lock the screen.

Turn Off Screen During Calls

Turn the screen off during phone calls, and use the proximity sensor on the front of the phone to turn
the screen back on when the phone is moved away from your ear.

2. Touch Turn off screen during calls to enable the option.

Call Alerts

Set options for sounds and vibrations to occur during calls.

2. Touch Call alerts to configure settings:
Vibrate on connection to network: V ibrate the phone when a call connects to the

network.
Call-end vibration: V ibrate the phone when the call ends.
l
Call connect tone: P lay a tone when a call is connected.
l
Minute minder: B eep twice a minute during a call.
l
Call end tone: P lay a tone when the other caller ends the call.
l
Alerts during calls: P lay notifications for alarms and new messages during calls.
