4/7" vent clearance to combustibles
If necessary, 5/8" venting can be reduced to 4/7" venting (see "converting from 5/8" to 4/7" venting
section)
The minimum clearances around the horizontal vent pipe to the combustible material is 1" (25.4mm) in installations
with a minimum of 38" (96.5cm) vertical rise made immediately off the appliance collar and where the vent has
been reduced to a 4/7" from 5/8" at the appliance.

For 4"/7" (Use reducer kit A4758AK to transition from 5"/8" to 4"/7" venting)
When using Wolf Steel 4"7" venting components, use only approved Wolf Steel rigid / flexible components with
the following termination kits: wall terminal kit GD-222, GD-222R, ST47U or 1/12 to 7/12 pitch roof terminal kit
GD-110, 8/12 to 12/12 roof terminal kit GD-111, flat roof terminal kit GD-112 or periscope kit GD-201 (for wall
penetration below grade). With flexible venting, in conjunction with the various terminations, use either the 5 foot
(1.5m) vent kit GD-220 or the 10 foot (3.1m) vent kit GD-330. See 4/7" vent clearance to combustibles section for
