Common Interface

The Common Interface Slot, situated on the side
of the television, enables the insertion of a CAM
(Conditional Access Module) and card. These
are purchased from a service provider and allow
additional subscription broadcasts to be viewed. For
information, see a service provider.
1.
Insert the CAM and card into the Common
Interface Slot, following the instructions provided
with the CAM. A box will appear on the screen to
confirm that the CAM has been inserted.
2.
In the Installation PHQX SUHVV
Common Interface, and press
submenu.
3.
Details of the CAM should now be available.
NOTE: The software updating of CI Plus CAM may
be automatically executed. At this time, any
Recording/Reminder pro-gramme timer will
be cancelled.

Software Update (USB)

1.
Insert a USB storage device with a firmware file.
2.
Press MENU 3UHVV
Installation.
3.
3UHVV RU WR VHOHFW Software Update (USB)
and press .
4.
Select Yes to start upgrading the firmware or
No to cancel and return to Installation menu.
