6. Disconnect the coin-cell battery from the system board (see

remove the coin-cell battery and place it in the replacement palm rest.
 
7. Remove the three M2.5 x 8-mm screws labeled "P" from the top of the palm rest.
 
8. Turn the computer over and remove the hard drive (see
 
9. Loosen the two captive screws located at the front of the hard drive bay.
 
10. Remove the seven M2.5 x 8-mm palm-rest screws from the bottom of the computer.
