Turning the Alert On and Off
You can set an alert for each information services
message slot.
Display the message in the information services mes-
sage slot where you want to set an alert. Repeatedly
press
until CHIRP ON? or CHIRP OFF? appears.
Then press
. The chirp turns on
if it was off, and
off
if it was on.
Setting a Bookmark
You can set a bookmark in an information services
message to hold your place if you want to finish read-
ing it later. While reading a message, press
