Duplicate Messages
If your pager receives a message that is the same as
one already stored in memory (read or unread), it im-
mediately saves the duplicate message using the
message marker of the original record. When you
press
to read that message, the pager first dis-
plays
DUPLICATE
and the most recent time the
message was received. Then the message automati-
cally appears after 3 seconds. Press
again to see
it sooner.
Tone Only/Unreadable Messages
If your pager receives a message that does not have
any characters, it displays
TONE ONLY
. If it receives
a message that is partially or totally unreadable, it
does not display the unreadable parts.
