    Assembly STEP 1 Assemble the rail and trolley SLIDE CHAIN SPREADER To prevent INJURY from pinching, keep hands and fingers away from the joints while assembling the ONTO RAIL Outer Trolley rail.   • Page 7 Assembly STEP 2 Fasten the rail to the motor unit IMPORTANT: Use ONLY the 1/4"-20x1-3/4" self-threading screws provided in a separate bag inside the hardware bag. To avoid SERIOUS damage to garage door opener, use ONLY the 1/4"-20x1-3/4" self-threading screws provided. 1.

    Installation STEP 10 Install the door control 1. Strip 1/4" (6 mm) of insulation from one end of the wire and separate the wires. 2. Connect one wire to each of the two screws on the back of the door control. The wires can be connected to either screw.
