Vehicles with AMG wheels and aluminium
hub caps:
To remove: take socket ; and wheel wrench

Position socket ; on hub cap :.

Position wheel wrench = on socket ;.

Using wheel wrench =, turn hub cap : anti-

clockwise and remove it.
To fit: before fitting, check hub cap : and

the wheel area for dirt and clean if necessary.
Put hub cap : in position and turn until it is in

the right position.
Position socket ; on hub cap :.

Attach wheel wrench = to socket ; and

tighten hub cap :.
The tightening torque must be 25 Nm.

Note that the hub cap should be tightened
to the specified torque of 25 Nm. Mercedes-
Benz recommends that you have the hub cap
fitted at a qualified specialist workshop.
Using wheel wrench =, loosen the bolts on
X
the wheel you wish to change by about one
full turn. Do not unscrew the bolts completely.
Jacking points (example: Coupé)
The jacking points are located just behind the
front wheel arches and just in front of the rear
wheel arches (arrows).

Take the ratchet ring spanner out of the vehi-
X
cle tool kit and place it on the hexagon nut of
the jack so that the letters AUF are visible.
Position jack A at jacking point ?.

Make sure that the base of the jack is posi-
X
tioned vertically under the jacking point.
Turn ratchet ring spanner B until jack A sits
X
completely on jacking point ? and the base
of the jack lies evenly on the ground.
Turn ratchet ring spanner B until the tyre is
X
raised a maximum of 3 cm from the ground.
