- Mounting
1) Clean the saw blade and all the clamping parts to be assembled.
2) Tilt back the lower blade guard (8) and hold it firmly with the lower guard
lever (9). Place the new saw blade (18) onto the inner flange ensuring that
the cutting direction of the teeth (direction of arrow on saw blade) and the
direction-of-rotation arrow on the blade guard match.
3) Re-position the outer flange (19) back on the centre of the blade. Use the
supplied wrench (22) to fix the spindle. Assemble the washer (20) and the
blade bolt (21) onto the outer flange (19). Use the supplied 6mm hex key
(24) to tighten the blade bolt (21) in a clockwise direction firmly (Fig. L4).
NOTE:
•
Take care that the mounting positions of the inner flange and outer
flange are correct.
•
When mounting: Ensure that the cutting direction of the teeth
(direction of arrow on saw blade) and the direction-of-rotation arrow on
the blade guard match.
•
Blade teeth are very sharp. For best cutting results ensure you use a saw
blade suited to the material and cut quality you need.
