Using a Digital Effect
When the PSR-18 POWER switch is initially turned on, the REVERB effect is
automatically selected. You can select either the REVERB or ECHO effect by press-
ing the appropriate button. The EFFECT VOLUME control adjusts the "depth"
or "strength" of the effect. Move the EFFECT VOLUME control towards the
"MAX" setting for a deeper effect. The effect can be turned off by sliding the
EFFECT VOLUME control all the way to the "OFF" position.

Playing a Rhythm Pattern

The PSR-18 has 22 different rhythm patterns that can be selected and played
by pressing the appropriate white key on the keyboard while holding the
button.
To play the SWING rhythm, for example, hold the

SWING rhythm will begin playing immediately.
