This Bluetooth hands-free system was developed specifi cally for users who want to use their cell phone while driving. Disconnect the BT Drive Free 311 from the power supply as soon as the bat- tery is fully charged, since overcharging would reduce the service life of the battery.
Connect the BT Drive Free 311 with the vehicle charging adapter via the USB cable. Connect the vehicle charging adapter with the cigarette lighter. The BT Drive Free 311 can also be charged with the USB cable connected to the computer.
To switch the device off , hold the MF button pressed for 5 seconds until the display shows "Power Off " and a voice announcement is heard. Note: If no connection exists to a cell phone, the BT Drive Free 311 automati- cally switches off after 10 minutes.
BT Drive Free 311 changes to standby mode. Note: If the pairing cannot be completed within 2 minutes, the pairing mode is switched off and the display shows "Pairing fail". The BT Drive Free 311 then changes to standby mode without Bluetooth connection. Switch off the device and repeat the pairing.
This function is only available if the phone book of the connected cell phone has been transferred to the BT Drive Free 311. In standby mode, hold the "–" button pressed for 3 seconds to open the phone book. The display shows the fi rst phone book entry.

"Rejected". Transferring a call To transfer a call from the BT Drive Free 311 to the cell phone, hold the MF button pressed for 2 seconds until you hear a tone and the display shows "Transfer". Repeat the operating step to transfer the call back to the BT Drive Free 311.
Resetting the BT Drive Free 311 You can restore the original factory settings of the BT Drive Free 311. In doing so, all paired cell phones, the phone book and the call list are deleted and English is set for voice announcements.
