Tire Mobility System - TMS)
Risk of accident due to
WARNING
sealed tires
Damaged tires that are sealed with tire sealant can
lose pressure or burst in the event of inappropriate
speed or continuous loading.
e Sealing the tire with the tire sealant is only an
emergency solution enabling you to drive to the
nearest authorized Porsche dealer.
e Use the tire sealant only in the case of cuts or
punctures no larger than 0.16 in. (4 mm).
e Never use tire sealant if the rim is damaged or if
you have driven with low tire pressure or deflated
tires.
e Do not use tire sealant at outside temperatures
below -4 °F (-20 °C).
e Avoid rapid acceleration and high cornering
speeds.
e Do not drive faster than 50 mph (80 km/h).
e Check the tire pressure after driving for around
10 minutes. If the tire pressure is less than
22 psi (1.5 bar), do not continue driving.
e Have sealed tires replaced by an authorized Por-
sche dealer as soon as possible. Inform the au-
thorized Porsche dealer that the tire contains tire
sealant.
e Tire repairs are not permissible. Replace dam-
aged tires.
e Observe the safety information and instructions
for use in the separate operating instructions for
the tire sealant and compressor.
In case of a flat tire, tire defects or tire damage can
be sealed temporarily using the tire sealant provided
in the vehicle.
The tire sealant set (Tire Mobility System - TMS) is
located in the luggage compartment.
> Please see chapter "Luggage Compartment" on
page 162.
