The BNC connector (J32 on the HMS-317 and J26 on HMS-318; see
management ports of up to 32 shelves into an integrated network through a 10BASE-2 (IEEE 802.3) Ethernet
LAN. The backplane RJ-45 connector (J34) provides a 10BASE-2 and a 10BASE-T (IEEE.802.3) Ethernet LAN.
