Notes
• If you hear ringer tones during the conversation, another call is coming in on
the other line (see page 16).
• If you hear an error beep when you press (CHANNEL), move closer to the
base phone.
• Do not press (CHANNEL) when you're far from the base phone. The call may
be disconnected.
If the handset battery becomes weak during a call
You hear the beep and the BATT LOW lamp on the handset flashes.
The call will be disconnected soon. Replace the handset on the base
phone to charge.

Redialing

Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to select the line.
The corresponding button lights up.

Press (REDIAL/PAUSE) to redial the number last dialed.
Notes
• The number last dialed cannot be stored separately for each line. It is the very
last one you have dialed using either line.
• If the number last dialed exceeds 16 digits, only the first 16 digits are dialed.

Making a call while talking on the other line

Example: Making a call on line 2 while talking on line 1

Press (HOLD) while talking.
The line 1 is put on hold.

Press (LINE 2).

Dial a phone number for the second party.
Now you can talk to the second party on line 2.
Tip
Even if you do not press (HOLD) in step 1, the line 1 is put on hold by presseing
(LINE 2).
You can talk with two parties at the same time using both line 1 and
line 2. (Three-way conference, see page 27)
