INSTALLATION

Install the hood

1. Run house power cable between service panel and hood
location. Leave a 3-foot length of power cable inside the
cabinet. Attach the power cable to the hood using the
strain relief previously installed.
NOTE: The blower outlet should be towards the back/rear
of the cabinet and junction box should be on the right-hand
side.
2. Insert the hood in the cabinet; both springs on each
side will click. Make sure all springs have clipped before
releasing the unit.

3. Lift the hood until contact is made between installation
brackets and cabinet (A). Secure the hood to the wood
blocks previously installed using (4) wood screws included
in parts bag (2 screws per side)(B). See illustration below.

4. Remove the 4 installation brackets (1 per unit corner).
For each bracket, remove the screw (A), then rotate the
braket to disengage it (B) from the cabinet. Discard the
brackets along with their screws according to local laws
and regulations.
