INSTALLING THE SECURITY BRACKET

The security bracket supplied with the computer can be used to fasten the computer to your
desk.

Remove the computer's cover (refer to "Removing the Cover" in chapter 2).

Remove the security bracket from the storage position.

Insert the security bracket, from inside the computer, into the slot shown in the diagram
above.

Press it firmly until it snaps into place.

Install any other accessories before replacing the cover.
This may cause a problem if you have a SCSI hard disk system.

CONFIGURING A SCSI HARD DISK DRIVE

If you have installed a SCSI hard disk drive, configure it in SETUP.

Highlight the Drive 1—primary (rear drive)—or Drive 2—secondary (front drive)—field,
and change it to None or SCSI.

Ensure that the Interface field is set to Integrated.

Highlight the SCSI BIOS Shadowing field, and change it to Enabled. The SCSI BIOS
cannot be shadowed if it is in segment C000h.
NOTE
The SCSI BIOS ROM Address field cannot be
changed. It allows you to view the SCSI adapter
board's setting. (For how to configure the SCSI
adapter, refer to its manual.
Remove the
bracket from the
storage position
Insert the
bracket in
the computer
