CD and DVD media can be removed from the optical drive manually, even if the system is not running.
1. Remove the optical drive cover panel from the computer by prying away the right side of the panel,
and then pulling the panel off the computer.
2. Insert a sturdy straightened paper clip into the hole and press firmly.
You should feel an internal mechanism moving as you press. The optical disc will be ejected.
3. Remove the disc from the drive.
