4. Reassemble and restart the computer. Your password is
disabled and cleared.
When you restart the computer, and the screen displays
the message: "system options not set," you should verify
the system date and time.
To establish new power-on and Setup passwords, you must set
switch SW1, position 1, back to the OFF position, clear CMOS,
and go to F10 Setup. For detailed instructions, refer to the
section "Establishing a Power-On Password Using Computer
Setup" earlier in this chapter.
To clear both the power-on password and the setup password,
clear the CMOS. See Appendix I, "System Board Jumpers and
Switches," for more information.
