Remove the computer access panel.

Locate the correct vacant expansion socket on the system board and the corresponding expansion
slot on the back of the computer chassis.

On the rear of the computer, a sliding slot cover lock secures the expansion card brackets and
expansion slot covers in place. Loosen the captive thumbscrew that holds the slot cover lock in
place (1) and slide the slot cover lock up and off the chassis (2).
