SOUND AND DISPLAY
Sound
Change settings for various sounds on the device.
On the Settings screen, tap Sound.
• S ound mode: Set the device to use sound mode or silent mode.
• V olume: Adjust the volume level for call ringtones, music and videos, system sounds, and
notifications.
• R ingtone: Add or select a ringtone for incoming calls.
• V ibrations: Add or select a vibration pattern.
• V ibrate when ringing: Set the device to vibrate and play a ringtone for incoming calls.
• D ialling keypad tone: Set the device to sound when you tap the buttons on the keypad.
• T ouch sounds: Set the device to sound when you select an app or option on the touch
screen.
• S creen lock sound: Set the device to sound when you lock or unlock the touch screen.
• S AMSUNG APPLICATIONS: Change the notification settings for each app.
Display
Change the display settings.
On the Settings screen, tap Display.
• B rightness: Set the brightness of the display.
• F ont:
– Font style: Change the font type for display text.
– Font size: Change the font size.
• S creen rotation: Set the content to rotate automatically when the device is turned.
– Smart rotation: Set the interface not to rotate according to the orientation of your
face.
