Cleaning the milk carafe

3 Apply a thin layer of grease around the shaft in the bottom of the
brew group.
4 Apply a thin layer of grease to the rails on both sides (see figure).
5 Insert the brew group as described in section 'Weekly cleaning of
the brew group'.
You can use the grease tube multiple times.

Carafe quick clean

Place a container under the milk froth dispensing spout and pull
out the milk froth dispensing spout.After preparing a milk-based
beverage, the carafe cleaning icon appears on the display.
1 When the carafe cleaning icon appears on the display, press the
OK button if you want to perform a cleaning cycle.
Tip: Remove the cup with the beverage and place a container under
the milk froth dispensing spout.
2 Place a container under the milk froth dispensing spout and pull
out the milk froth dispensing spout.
3 Press the OK button to start dispensing hot water.
To clean the milk carafe thoroughly, you have to do the following
regularly:
1 Disassemble the top of the milk carafe.
2 Remove the lid of the milk carafe.
