DECT 6.0 headsets. The telephone base recognizes and counts a headset the same as a handset. You can add new handsets (DS6071/DS6071-17/DS607V-1F/DS607V-1G/ DS607V-1H/DS607V-1J, purchased separately) to your telephone system. Each handset must be registered with the telephone base before use. Additional handsets registered to the telephone base are assigned numbers in the sequential order. -

Deregister handsets If you want to replace a handset or reassign the designated handset number of a registered handset, you must deregister all devices, including all handsets and headsets. Then individually register each device again. To deregister all devices: Press and hold FIND HANDSET on the telephone base for about 0 seconds until the IN USE light on the telephone base turns on and starts flashing. -
