Forwarding
The  Single  Port  Forwarding screen allows you to customize
portservicesforcommonapplicationsonthisscreen .
When users send these types of requests to your network
viatheInternet,theValetwillforwardthoserequeststothe
appropriate servers (computers) .  Before using forwarding,
you should assign static IP addresses to the designated
servers (use the DHCP Reservation feature on the Basic 
Setupscreen,refertoDHCP Reservation,page 16formore
details) .

entries .Selecttheappropriateapplication .Thenenterthe
IPaddressoftheserverthatshouldreceivetheserequests .

Application Name
Enterthenameyouwishtogivethe
application .Eachnamecanbeupto12characters .
External Port
Enter the external port number used by
theserverorInternetapplication .CheckwiththeInternet
applicationdocumentationformoreinformation .
Internal Port
Enter the internal port number used by
theserverorInternetapplication .CheckwiththeInternet
applicationdocumentationformoreinformation .
Protocol
Select the protocol used for this application,
eitherTCPorUDP,orBoth .
To IP Address
Foreachapplication,entertheIPaddress
ofthePCthatshouldreceivetherequests .Ifyouassigned
a static IP address to the PC, then you can click DHCP
ReservationontheBasic Setupscreentolookupitsstatic

Enabled

Forwarding
The  Port  Range  Forwarding screen allows you to set up
public services on your network, such as web servers,
FTP servers, e-mail servers, or other specialized Internet
applications .  (Specialized Internet applications are any
applications that use Internet access to perform functions
suchasvideoconferencingoronlinegaming .  SomeInternet
applicationsmaynotrequireanyforwarding . )
