Button Functions
VCR Buttons
You can use this rem ote control to operate the basic functions of your V C R . T hese functions
include: play, record, rewind, fast-forward, stop, pause, channel scan, T V /V C R , power on, and
power off.
M ove the selector switch to VCR to operate.
• T he rem ote is preset with the code 000 to control JV C -brand V C R 's. F or any other m anufacturer's
brand V C R , please see the code chart and instructions on page 17.

DVD Buttons

You can also use this rem ote control to operate the basic functions of your D V D player. T hese
functions include: play, rewind, fast-forward, stop, still/pause, previous/next, tray open/close, power
on, and power off.
M ove the selector switch to DVD to operate.
• T he rem ote is preset with the code 000 to control JV C -brand D V D players. F or any other
m anufacturer's brand D V D player, please see the code chart and instructions on page 18.

TV/CATV Switch

U se either the television's own tuner or a cable box to select channels. S et this switch to TV to operate
the television's built-in tuner. M ove the switch to C ATV to operate a cable box.

VCR/DVD Switch
You can control a V C R or D V D player with the buttons on the lower part of the remote control. U se the
V C R /D V D selector switch to choose either V C R or D V D operation.

codes.

Light

(Available on RM-C303G and RM-C304)
Your remote control includes illuminated buttons for key features like C
