C ertain sym bols are used throughout this guide to help you learn about the features of your new
television. T he ones you will see m ost frequently are:
œ ƒ U p and D own arrows m ean press the C
let you:
• M ove vertically in a m ain m enu screen
• M ove through a subm enu screen
• M ove to the next letter, num ber, or other choice in a subm enu
• Back up to correct an error
• S can through T V channels (when not in a m enu screen)

Left and right arrows m ean press the V
• S elect a highlighted m enu item
• S elect an item in a subm enu
• S elect num bers in certain m enu options
• Turn the volum e up or down (when not in a m enu screen)

The Onscreen Menus
To bring up the onscreen menu, press the M
